QUATRE

OH MON DIEU!
Le quatre saison du Gossip Girl sera tres scandaleux!

I'm very excited. When I first watched the 3rd season finale, I thought that the 4th season would be tres terrible! But I think I've just been proved wrong.

NOW FOR AN OUTFIT SHOWDOWN:
I've always loved to shop sales, and getting as much as I can out of my hard-earned money. These two outfit posts will show you what I mean...

Lace shirt: "Trendyland" brand from Winners... $14.99
Pastel skirt: vintage... borrowed from my mom
Cream heels: "Giani Bini" brand from Army & Navy... $39.00
Bag: "Mingpai" brand from somewhere in China... gifted
Star necklace: Crew Heaven facetrading... $5.00
Total outfit cost: $58.99

Striped tee: Smartset... $10.00
Pink cardigan: Old Navy... borrowed from mom
Skinny jeans: "Bongo" brand from Urban Planet... $29.00
Silver heels: "American Eagle" brand from Payless Shoesource... $19.00
Purse: Tommy Hilfiger... gifted
Chain necklace: Crew Heaven facetrading... $5.00
Total outfit cost: $63.00

Eh? Eh?
Am I good, or am I good?

Wait, no, the real question is:

Am I good or am I cheap?
(Or both?)

LOLZ.

Okay, peace out. <3
ps. You've probably noticed the major layout/blog change here, and how I'm posting a lot more than usual. I think it's for the better. I'm more focused on blogging now, and I think this will help me overcome some of the issues I'm dealing with. And it's helping me get ready for my future! I'm thinking of studying journalism in university now. Or even trying to go into the fashion or business industry. I figure I can narrow it down between these three choices by the time I graduate, haha.
Thanks for reading guys!

i've just finished filming the Lady Gaga vid!
i won't tell you which one of her songs i did, but you can give your guesses in the comments hehehe... not that i'll tell you if you're right or wrong. still, try.

i've been meaning to blog about this ex-hollywood couple for a while, but here it is, my nostalgic couple obsession:

Winona x Depp
now before you let out your collective "awwwwww"s, let me just say something here.
AWW AREN'T THEY JUST ADORABLE.
they're wearing matching pantsuits in the second picture. that's something i'd like to do someday. wear matching pantsuits with the love of my life.
too bad they never got married.

sometimes it's just not meant to be.

no matter how PERFECT the couple may seem, life can throw itself in between. :/ To that, I say, "Life, stop butting into Love's realm. If you two can't get along, how do you expect anyone else to get along?"

i've got nothing else to post.
so here are some outfits i loved... and... did not love:

LOVE
i love me some florals...................................camo pants!!! how awesome is ms. perry's mixture of slick and feminine?
lea michelle is HOT.................................................................................. what a beautiful dress. total drool-worthy

NO LOVE
no words....................................................................................................i don't know why i don't like hilary duff's outfit.
maybe it's the childishness? i don't know. i expect more from her that's all.

one who stole the show
riri's looking mighty fine. gorgeous red hair, wonderful fitted dress, and some nude heels to lengthen those already loooong legs. the hottie on her arm isn't too bad either.

see you on the upside!!!
can't wait to showcase the gaga music video! xxx

I SAY 'CROP ACTION'

Lily from Banappleart tagged me ages ago and i'm so sorry for not posting this sooner! hah, procrastinating and forgetful me :S

Alrightie... let's do this thang:
1.What shoe size are you?
size 5 1/2. it's hard finding shoes! size 5 is too small and 6 is too large. i deal with it by telling my feet to grow larger every night.

2.Where do you work?
Hut of Hell (Pizza Hut). i eat so much pizza at work... = = Customers get really grumpy if their pizza is late by like 5 minutes! i'm the customer service person so all the angry ppl get redirected to me. eep.

3.Favorite piece of clothing you own
Right now... My crop tops! they're really versatile actually. and easy to DIY too. just cut up an old tee and voila, instant crop action.

4.Your favorite blog?
i have so many seriously!!! if i follow your blog/link to your blog, most likely, i'm a hardcore fan of said blog (;

5.Do you have any pets?
not right now. i wish tho!

6.How many siblings do you have?
just one. my sister, Jenny. she's 9. but my baby cousin is staying with us as well so i consider her as a baby sister. she's only 1 and a half!

7.If you could live anywhere where would it be?
wow umm I really don't know. in the future, I'd probably say NY or London but to be honest, I don't know if i can survive living in a huge city.. for now.

8.What were you doing before this?
Watching Glee eps. I borrowed the Season 1 DVD from my bestie! (finally gosh. i'm gonna spend endless hours watching hahaha)

9.Your favorite food?
Hmm.. I'll eat anything :D

10.Do you have a middle name?
It's my Chinese name, "Shanni". It's pronounced exactly like Sunny. Almost.

11.Your favorite websites?
FACEBOOK :O and youtube hehe.

12.Who do you tag?
EVERYONE WHO READS THIS.
Ppl, you better post this haha.

Thanks once again, Lily. You're a babe :D

Now, onto other news...

ugh. 3 days without technology. how will i ever survive?
this will be my first time camping so i am a little apprehensive. but hopefully there won't be too many mosquitoes to bite me, enough hot water in the showers, enough toilet paper (?!), not too much rain and mud, and that the mattresses in the cabins are sanitary.

KTHXBAI

ooops sorry for not blogging/being under a rock for a looong time.

So, school. yeah. what can i say? i'm drowning in it? i'm suffocating? i'm being pulled so far apart by it that the molecules inside my body are broken up, causing my body to degenerate? well yes, all of the above.

also, I'M GOING TO IDAHO TOMORROW, BITCHES.

Waking up at 5:30 in the morn', getting dressed for intense, cold weather, sitting on a bus for 7 hours! with other music geeks! i'll be sure to post vids of my vocal jazz group singing for you eager readers out there haha. i'm so excited. my mom packed me 5 oranges and 2 bananas and i told her that i'm not going to eat that many oranges... and she said, strictly, "You have to". So I secretly sneaked two oranges back into the basket and stole some beef jerky and granola bars from the cupboard... MUAHAHA i'm an evil child.

I feel a lot better mentally these days... The schoolwork keeps piling up, but I think I've gotten immune to the stress. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_Baccalaureate <- All about IB, and what us IB students have to live up to... and ultimately, die for. I hear this quote a lot: "I wanna die" on Facebook, in msgs, in the hallways. Even I say it, albeit unconciously, maybe about 28 times a day.

"I think... Therefore, IB."

GG.

for lack of a better post, I recently read on MTV that Yen Plus magazine is going to be releasing a Gossip Girl series.
The first 4 pages are on the MTV website. Check it out! http://www.mtv.com/photos/exclusive-gossip-girl-manga-preview/1628051/4462580/photo.jhtml

Oh, and I've just got to sneak in an outfit here:
Sirens trenchcoat, American Apparal skirt, Old Navy black henley, Madeline boots, Icing headband
I'm really enjoying the holidays! Being able to just laze around in my bathrobe is very pleasant. I wake up in the afternoons and sleep in the early mornings. It's strange but nice. Went shopping a few more times too. I mailed a special gift to someone and it costed like 12 extra bucks! Wow postal is expensive (;
I hope you guys are all having fun and relazing around (relaxing + lazing around; hey if Tyra can make up words, I can too!) as well - cheers!

he told me ketchup chips taste like poo and I believed him.

OKAY. I know I said I wasn't going to post here before school starts. But I just found out in the mail, that the short story I wrote and entered into a competition will be published! My short story, The Long Night of Amendments, will be published with many other short stories written by Canadians in this book:

i know. It looks plain. Drab, even. But this is my first time entering something I've written into a contest.. and winning the semi-finals.

Well, that's not all.
I DIYED THIS SHIRT LAST NIGHT HOORAY.

Oh, and I'm officially broke ):

we sure are cute for two ugly people.

when i came down to the computer room, my sister was watching a youtube video that was shot, seemingly, in the dark. i asked her what she was watching, curious, because she IS an 8 year old after all, and she should be watching... um, Blue's Clues... no, um, a show that was shot in good lighting at least. It turns out that she was watching an artist who draws in his sleep.

Lee Hadwin.

Some of his works, all done while he was asleep:

check out his gallery. his bio. Like, a sleepdrawer? sleeppainter? whatever he is, he is amazing.

forget the drama.

(I just want to thank everyone for visiting my page, and dropping their comments (: I really appreciate it, and it makes me feel welcome at Blogger! I love all your blogs, seriously.)

onto other news (saw this over at lovelyish):

EYEBALL JEWELRY IMPLANTS OMFGSTFUGTFO.

"Here's how it works. An ophthalmologist anesthetizes your eye, then makes a microscopic incision in the conjunctiva, the eye's transparent outer membrane. The doctor drops a tiny piece of jewelry (called JewelEye) into the incision, and the procedure is over. It takes 10 minutes and costs about $4,000, and you spend the next week feeling as if you have a piece of sand in your eye. When the conjunctiva heals, you can't feel it (even when you rub your eye). "

Um, wow. really? I don't know whether to be shocked or excited...
